For more than a decade, 12,000 people have been killed between Muslims and Christians. In Egypt, Muslims are being kicked out of Universities, losing their jobs, and are being barred from having bank accounts. But some people are unaware at the fact that these thing sare happening to people even here in the United States.

It is wrong for people to discriminate others because of what religion they are. I think that this shows Life and Dignity of the Human Person because each person is created in the image and likeness of God and no matter who someone is, they are sacred because God brought them into the world. To kill someone because of what religion they are is stupid. If your brother or sister didn't believe in God and you did, would you kill them? Or would you accept them for who they are because you know they won't change their minds on their opinion. Innocent people are killed because of what they believe and it isn't right. Just because someone has different beliefs than you doesn't make them any more different than yourself.

Solidarity

Solidarity, there are so many people in the world that don't even understand the meaning of it. Solidarity is a key to following Christ, we all use it when we invite someone to play or talk, we use it when we stand up for one another, and we use it when we are kind to everyone.Solidarity is simple to follow and can change a persons life. Solidarity is when we work together for peace and justice, we can stand up for one another for what is right while not excluding others, and not makeing people feel less important then someone else, because we are all equal. There are people all over the world who try to work for peace and justice, but are treated unfairly, there are also people who have been treated unfairly all thier lives they don't even know what solidarity is. This is sad and wrong everyone should hear about solidarity, peace, and justice. It is a kind and loving thing to work for solidarity, and to follow Christ in the peace and justice we work for.We must all stand up for each other, not exclude anyone, and do what is right and be kind to everyone in following Solidarity.

Louisiana Oil Rig

The U.S. Coast Guard decided to set fire to the oil that had spilled off the Louisiana coast, in the Gulf of Mexico. Though this catastrophe is still going on, what I'm really paying attention to is the amount of workers that had died or had been found injured. 11 workers are still missing and 115 more were rescued.

I think that drilling off land is not exactly the best idea. Using oil rigs in the first place isn't very smart considering all of the pollution it causes, but drilling of land is good. As many have seen the oil rig exploded and caused oil to pollute the Gulf of Mexico. On top of all that, workers are still missing or have been injured in the explosion. I think that this story shows The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers and Care for God’s Creation. Though the decision to drill of land is not care for God's creation, it shows how it isn't care for God's creation. I think that this shows The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers because in the event of what had happened, the workers are the ones who had to pay for what had happened.

The Santee Mission

Ten years ago, a group of sisters named the Sisters of the Holy Names visited a neighborhood in the poorest area of East San Jose. Thats when they started the Santee Mission. The sisters transformed a poor, dangerous neighborhood into a more peaceful place for childeren and family to live. The sisters provided religous education and Sunday worship. The families and childeren, that live in nothing but packed apartments and one family homes, are very grateful for the sisters help in making their neighborhood a more Christ centered community. Otherwise, these families would not be able to participate in Catholic education.

I feel that the Santee Mission is very important. It gives families a chance to have a better life and a better neighborhood. This mission is also inspiring in living out our catholic faith and may inspire others to start a mission on helping a neighborhood or community. In helping  family and childeren, who dont have very much and who live in dangerous neighborhoods, by giving them a better life by providing Catholic education is a wonderful thing to do in spreading the word of God in making the world a wonderful, peaceful and loving enviorment.

In the Calliope River near Gladstone, Australia, a girl named Rachel Shardlow survived an attack by a box jellyfish. A zooligist, named Jamie Seymour, is astouned by the miracle at the fact that the little girl is still alive. "Usually when you see people who have been stung by box jellyfish with that number of the tentacle contacts on their body, it's usually in a morgue," Jamie Seymour. Shardlow is still feeling all the effects, but she is doing awesome compared to other people who have been stung by these venomous jelly fish. Though she still has scars and memory she has been very brave.

This story is wonderful and very inspirational, but if you go down to look at the comments you will see how many people don't look at the story but at the fact that they are judemental towards Christians and those who believe in God. Though I do believe God was watching over this girl and made sure she was protected, what I'm really thinking about is how people only care about the beliefs of others. I find it very saddening that people are so worried about when people say what they think. It hurts me when I see that all anyone cares about these days is how different someone is from another. I think that this would be Rights and Responsibilities. I think that it would be that particular CST because each person has the right to believe what he or she wants to. After all that is the reason God gave us free will, to be able to believe in Him and choose Him on our own accord. But the point of the matter being is that everyone should look at another as if they are the mirror image of themselves.

In 3D movies the 3D-glasses help your eyes fuse two flat images into one image with depth, thus creating a 3D movie. Now most of us have heard that people have already made 3D tvs. That's all cool and awesome! Alice In Wonderland, How To Train Your Dragon and, Avatar are the latest 3D movies that came out. For the people in sports scientist are making ESPN 3D. For people involved in way to much video games their making 3DS and gaming console. Soon enough everything we watch will be in 3D. Althougth this seems great doctors prove that it is unaccustom for us to see in 3D for so many hours a day. We can get disorientation, seizeries, strokes, eye strain, dizzyness and nausea.

I think that the people who created this should be ashamed. They have broken the Catholic Social Teaching that is Rights and responsibility. In a world where some speak mostly of "rights" and others of "responsibility" the tradition of the Catholic community teaches us that human dignity can be and should be protected. This and a healthy community can only be achevied if the human rights are protected and the responsibilities are met. Which is not what is happining here in this picture. They don't care about the safety of others they just care about how much money they will get if and when they sell it. Rights and respondsibility tells us to be responsible about the health of your friends,family,neighbor,and community. I think we can help this cause by educating adults and chlidren about the many problems that this product may cause to their health. We can protest by having people sign a pitition against the product and send it to the congress or goverment and also we can preform a comercial that will be intertaining as well as educational on the product. The commercial can tell them the cause and effect of this and also explain to them how they can help.

Planet Earth

This is the Earth, "Mother Nature", "Gods' giving planet" whatever you want to call it, we all live in the same world, community, and family but we're tearing it apart with our hatred over each other. God gave us Earth to live in it and share it with everybody and everything. Do you see how wonderful and amazing our Earth looks like and the animals that live in it? It is going to changed dramaticly if we do not do something and do it quick. Did you know that we cut down trees from the rainforest about every minute and the lakes, we are polluting it with our trash because we're to lazy to just take it to the dump. You can help saved the Earth by doing little things like reusing your jug of orange juice and use it to water plants or just use it for other drinks. We can plant trees or walk to places of short distance instead of killing the atmosphere with the ozone coming out of the car. These are just small portions of what we do for our planet. Do this and you'll be Caring for God's Creation!
